Date/Time: Monday, June 29, 2026, 6:30 PM - 8 PM
Location: McDonough - Hall A/B/C/Kitchen Combo
Details:
Join don Paolo Ravaglia, from the Vatican’s Dicastery for the Causes of Saints, for a special presentation on Monday, June 29, from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM. Don Paolo will speak on the upcoming beatifications of Archbishop Fulton Sheen (September 24) and the Georgia Martyrs (October 31). A wine and cheese reception will follow the 6:00 PM Mass. RSVP online if you will attend.

Archbishop Sheen was one of the most influential Catholic evangelists of the 20th century, renowned for bringing the Gospel to millions through his preaching, writing, and pioneering use of television. The Georgia Martyrs—five Franciscan missionaries and their companions who gave their lives for the faith in colonial Georgia—represent a powerful witness to the Church’s earliest history in our region. We are fortunate to have don Paolo with us to offer his insights into these upcoming beatifucations.
