If you’re curious about the Catholic faith or you’ve even thought about becoming a Catholic, our Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) program is just for you. Adults from all faith traditions, or no religious background at all, are welcome to participate in our 15-week program of instruction designed especially for the needs and lifestyles of busy people. The program focuses on the Scriptural, Traditional, Liturgical, and Sacramental fundamentals of Catholicism and explains clearly how and what the Church teaches.
Open Inquiry sessions are held on the last Sunday of every month (excluding holiday weekends) from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM in the ground floor classroom of the Parish Office Building. No registration is required for this drop-in opportunity to ask questions about the Catholic faith and learn more about the OCIA catechism class.
If you decide to enroll in the OCIA class that prepares you for reception into full communion with the Roman Catholic Church, you may choose either our Fall or Easter Session. The Fall Session typically begins in early August and concludes before Thanksgiving. The Easter Session begins in early January and concludes the Sunday before Memorial Day. Classes are held from 10:00 AM - 11:15 AM on Sunday mornings, with Mass offered either before or after at 8:30 AM or 11:30 AM.
A Neophyte class is available once a month after participants are confirmed as Catholics.
