Details:	Holy Spirit is excited to announce that internationally acclaimed sculptor Timothy Schmalz has been commissioned to create several pieces of art for the expansion of our Memorial Garden. Many parishioners may recall that in January 2022, we hosted a replica of the Angels Unawares sculpture which is permanently installed at Catholic University of America in Washington, DC (the original piece is in St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican). Some of Mr. Schmalz’s other notable pieces include Homeless Jesus, which is installed in several places, including St. Peter’s Square, New York City, and Toronto, and Gospel Garden / Stations of the Cross located at Mary Queen of the Universe Basilica in Orlando. Mr. Schmalz will unveil his renderings for our Memorial Garden expansion during a special presentation on Tuesday, June 9, from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM in McDonough Hall. Learn more about the artist here. Additionally, information regarding Holy Spirit’s Early Bird niche reservation process for the expanded Memorial Garden and Columbarium will also be shared during the presentation.
