Join the Men’s Club on Monday, November 3, at 6:30 PM in McDonough Hall to welcome Dr. Paul J. Voss, president of Ethikos and associate professor at Georgia State, who will discuss his new book, Merchant Saint: The Church, the Market, and the First Lay Canonization. The book explores how Christian thought came to embrace honest commerce, and spotlights St. Omobono of Cremona, a 12th-century cloth merchant, patron of businesspeople, and the first layperson canonized,as a compelling model of sanctity in everyday work. The cost is $15 and includes dinner. RSVP on the parish website if you will attend.
