Bishop Schlesinger has announced official priest assignments for the Archdiocese of Atlanta, effective July 1, 2025.

We congratulate Fr. Roberto Suárez, who has been appointed Administrator of St. Helena Catholic Church in Clayton. While we will certainly miss Father Suarez and his faithful ministry here at Holy Spirit, we will have an opportunity to express our gratitude and officially say goodbye before his departure.

Father Hieu Ha has been appointed Hospital Chaplain of Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, with additional pastoral ministry to the Vietnamese Catholic community at St. Michael Catholic Church in Gainesville. We are grateful for his service to the parish and will also have the chance to bid him farewell before he begins his new assignment.

I am pleased to share that Father Cristian Cossío has been assigned as Parochial Vicar at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, also effective July 1. He joins me and Fr. Joseph Nguyen in service to our parish. We look forward to welcoming him to our parish family.
