Divine Mercy Sunday

In a series of revelations to St. Maria Faustina Kowalska in the 1930s, our Lord repeatedly called for the celebration of the Feast of Divine Mercy on the first Sunday after Easter. He promised an ocean of graces to be poured upon the world. Today, we know this feast as Divine Mercy Sunday, named by St. John Paul II at the canonization of St. Faustina on April 30, 2000. This year Divine Mercy Sunday will be celebrated on Sunday, April 7th.

To receive the graces of Divine Mercy, one needs to receive Holy Communion worthily on Divine Mercy Sunday (or the Vigil celebration) by making a good confession beforehand and staying in a state of grade and trusting in Divine Mercy. We will have our usual Adoration (in St. Mary's Chapel) and confessions (in St. Mary's Chapel Bride's Room) from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Divine Mercy Sunday.
