Wedding Guild
Holy Spirit is host to a large number of weddings each year. Volunteers (known as Wedding Guild members) assist the wedding coordinators at both the Friday night rehearsal and Saturday wedding. Assistance includes activities like managing the logistics of the rehearsal, organizing the bridal party processional and places on the Altar, preparing the Altar for the wedding, working with lectors, helping guests with questions and ensuring adherence to the Catholic wedding guidelines. Guild members assist as their personal schedule permits, for a total time commitment of two hours per wedding. There are no annual minimum volunteer hours required and hands-on training will be provided.
