Request a Funeral/Burial
Planning a funeral for a loved one is a painful and oftentimes confusing process. The Church understands that and helps walk families through every step of the way. The first step is to call a member of the clergy and notify them of the death. You will tell them if you want to have a Funeral Mass based on the family's wishes.

Whatever funeral home you choose to deal with will handle the details of the burial at area cemeteries, but in cases where your loved one wishes to be buried at Holy Spirit, you'll be directed to someone who will walk you through how the Memorial Garden works. It is a perpetuating garden meaning the cremains must be in a biodegradable container. Spots are recycled as the garden fills up. The cost for internment is the cost of the plaque.

If a family requests a reception we have a committee that provides all the food and volunteers to man the reception. Receptions are held in McDonough Hall.

If you would like to request a funeral or burial at Holy Spirit, please contact at 404-252-4513 x213.
