Looking for a more formalized theological study opportunity? Spring Hill College
is your answer!
Spring Hill College, The Jesuit College of the South, provides the opportunity to
complete certificate and masters degree programs in theology. Designed specifically
for the non-traditional student, the theological study programs offer a contemporary,
ecumenical perspective in a Catholic tradition. The Atlanta extension site for Spring
Hill College is located at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
The programs are well suited for lay men and women as well as clergy and religious
seeking to continue a religious education, broaden a knowledge base for pastoral
ministry or religious education, or simply for personal enrichment in the Catholic Faith.
Degree programs include the Master of Theological Studies, Master of Pastoral Studies
and Master of Arts. Certificate programs include Theological Studies, Spiritual
Direction, and Faith Companioning. Applicants for the graduate degree programs must
hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. Those without
degrees may apply for the CTS or a BA undergraduate program.
Each year, the Holy Spirit extension site offers five 3-credit courses. Three are
offered in 6 Saturday sessions (9:00am-4:00pm) and two are offered in 12 Tuesday
evening sessions (6:30pm-9:30pm). The cost per credit is $242.00. There are also
limited course auditing options available at a reduced cost.
