Keeping a Holy Lent
Fasting and Abstinence The following fasting / abstinence regulations are observed during Lent:
Abstinence from meat on  all the Fridays of Lent and Good Friday (April 14) by all Catholics 15 years of age and older.

Fasting on Good Friday (April 14) by all Catholics who are 18 to 59 years of age. When fasting, a person is permitted to eat one full meal and two smaller meals which, together, would not to equal a full meal. Fasting is not an obligation for those with a medical condition which would be made worse by fasting.

Stations of the Cross
Stations of the Cross will be prayed each Friday during Lent right after Reposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 5:00 p.m. in St. Mary’s Chapel beginning on March 3.

Opportunities for Confession During Lent
Lent is a time to experience the power of God’s mercy and compassion. The Sacrament of Penance is offered every Saturday from 4:15 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., on Sunday mornings from 9:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., or anytime by appointment. Confessions will also be heard on Good Friday, April 14th, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., during the Seven Last Words service.

Eucharistic Adoration
During Lent, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be offered in St. Mary’s Chapel every Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and again from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Come rest in the presence of the Lord, spending an hour or whatever time your schedule allows. Adoration is also held on Sunday mornings from 9:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and on the third Monday of each month from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
