Dear Parishioners:
I'm pleased to announce the launch of a "new look" for both the website and the weekly bulletin. Parishioners and visitors to Holy Spirit's website will notice several enhancements:
- An updated "look" to compliment the new bulletin
- A robust web calendar tied in with parish reservation system. Calendar items may be sorted, viewed by day, week or year and exported to your own calendar system
- RSVP “quick link” button conveniently located on the home page
- Children and Teen links display latest Religious Education, Life Teen and EDGE news
- “Digital Age” resource page offers links for nurturing your faith life via podcast, Apps and the Catholic Exchange RSS feed
Ministry Leaders are encouraged to review the web calendar to make sure their meeting times/locations are accurate. In the event that a ministry is not meeting on a scheduled date, please contact Samantha Zavala (szavala@hsccatl.com) as soon as possible. Generally speaking, the only calendar items listed are parish ministry meetings/events. If you have any questions or comments about the web calendar or the website in general, please contact Kim Schulman (kschulman@hsccatl.com).
The weekly bulletin also received a "face lift," most notably, a more sophisticated and traditional look. Consistent headers and page numbers will help parishioners readily navigate news items. In addition, while pertinent information will be included about parish ministries and events, parishioners will be directed to the parish website for additional details.
The bulletin deadline for submitting announcements remains Friday at noon one week prior to the weekend you want the announcement to appear. All requests for announcements are subject to approval, editing and available space. For questions concerning the bulletin or to submit an announcement, please contact bulletin@hsccatl.com.
We are especially grateful to parishioners Leah Boccia and John Hartwell who were instrumental to this project. Leah offered design concepts and John provided expertise in graphic design.
